History

 

1989-1991 Vivera production plant was constructed in Glina (Sisak and Moslavina County) as a division of the recently largest pharmaceutical  factory Pliva d.d. – Food Division. It is spread on 40.000 m2 of which is  20.000 m2  covered space.  Its basic activity was production of dried fruit and vegetables with 180 employees.

1991–1995 The factory has not worked because of the war in this region.

1996-2000 In March 1997 Vivera was registered as an independent company (Vivera d.o.o.),  but still in the ownership of Pliva d.d.  Its basic activity was production of cereal baby food and extruded products (Cornflakes and Probavin).

2001 Ownership structure change occured  on 01.03.2001 when company  was taken over by HIPP Beteiligungs AG and it became the 100% -owner of  Vivera. The new owner took over the plant with 43 employees.

2001-2012 New owner has invested in a company enabling progress in production, control and development, market position, number of employees, export and company reputation.

Today Vivera is a large, modern company basing its activities on the principles of good manufacturing practice following updated food industry trends worldwide.
